Power Invertor Issues

I have an 2007 Chateau 35B, I am not getting DC voltage from the power inverter when on the genny or shore power. All fuses on the panel in front of the bed are good how ever I did notice some char-ing heat stains around the white ground pole on the circuit board located above the 120v circuit breakers. My only work around now is to connect a 120v car battery charger to the coach batteries to maintain their charge. What remedies can you suggest?

Hi,

What you are referring to is the "converter". (An inverter takes DC input and outputs AC).

You likely will need to replace the converter itself, which isn't too difficult. A very good source for replacements:

BestConverter - Converters, Inverters, Electrical Supplies, Electronics
