Powertrain Extended Warranty??

Anyone know of a company(ies) offering 'powertrain only' extended warranties for RV's? (Class A)

Currently have a Cornerstone warranty that covers the coach. Didn't take the Powertrain option at the time because it still had 2 years/15K miles on the factory warranty... That expires shortly based on both age and miles.

The plan has covered several repairs with no issues.

Cornerstone can cover the powertrain - but wants to cancel/refund the remaining and have me take out a new policy - all paid upfront. Would rather do something monthly for the powertrain and just keep the remaining 2 years on the rest of the coach.

Ideas welcome...

I assume if it is a Ford you have checked on a Ford ESP warranty? I have no idea if they market motorhome Ford warranties or not. If you can determine that answer on line then look up the Troy Ohio Ford dealership. They sell Ford ESP warranties about 30% cheaper than any other dealer in the country.


I just got a 5 year/70,000 miles bumper-bumper coach/chassis/engine/tranny from Pontiac RV (Pontiac IL) when I bought my 2014 used Challenger. It was less than $2,000. I don't have the paperwork here with me but if you call them they can give you the name of that warranty company.

Ford didn't offer anything based on my VIN...
I ended up (as I just posted in another thread going with Good Sam's... Will be cancelling the Cornerstone - and getting a refund of the time remaining - and pay the Good Sam's monthly.
