propane leaks

Has anyone had propane leak problems?
So far i have found two leaks, one under the stove top and one on the hot water heater connection.
Thor did not use any pipe dope all four appliance connections.

Our Vegas had a super slow LP leak after the warranty was out. Found out when I left the valve open in storage for about a month.

Turned out to be the hose from the regulator to the coach, it had a broken cone piece in the connection. Found this too late to order a part, so ended up having one made at a hydraulic shop for about $60. All other fittings were fine.

A friendly suggestion to johhnyb and a few others. You will get more specific feedback if you would identify your Thor RV in your profile. All the owners are Thor here, and there are so many different makes and models under the Thor umbrella. (Doesn't apply to this particular question.)

For L.P. the connection should been flared fittings which don't require any kind of dope/tape if tightened correctly.
