Drain under sink not connected

I turned on water in kitchen in brand new motorhome and water leaked on floor, when I looked under sink the pipe isn't even connected. It looks like the slip nut may have a broken section. Any ideas what would cause that? It is annoying to have a problem before I can even go camping in it.

Unfortunately.... this kind of stuff happens.... and more often than not. I've learned to expect it, deal with it and then put it behind me.

I just purchased my second new MH a couple months ago. I found the kitchen sink leaking during the PDI. Dealer said they fixed it before I left but their repair actually made it happen again. When I found it leaking at home I fixed it and have had no issues with it since.

Fix what you can and then start keeping a Warranty Punch List of items that you can't fix or will cost money to fix.

I have found Thor Customer Service to be excellent. They have sent me new parts under warranty to fix items myself and even have reimbursed me for warranty repairs.

Time to see how your dealer's Service Department can handle a simple warranty claim...

Poor assembly and quality control practices. Industry wide problem.

Both my kitchen and bathroom drains fell apart when I bought mine. Also found a couple of the water feed lines were loose and leaking. And my fresh water tank had several holes in and didn't hold water above half full.
