quality control

picked up our new ACE 29.3 a week ago thankfully we did not go camping right away. List of problems so far: tile lifting off floor screw under pushing up. entrance step tread falling off, hot and cold water reversed. electric step broke pin bent and broke. HDMI cable running to outside tv traced to cabnet in bathroom had been cut. waste elbow set directly down could not attach waste line. Almost afraid to leave driveway. any other potential problems i should be aware of

The "Y" waste elbow will rotate, may be a little stiff but it will move to where you want it.

Everything else should be repaired by your dealer.
Welcome to the Thor Forum and enjoy your RV

Welcome!!!

If you didn't have a glitch or two it would not be normal! Makes the story telling about your rig more fun. How would it sound "Nothing was wrong. Ever." ?

Did you find these after you got it home? Any reason why they weren't evident during the PDI??

The waste Y should rotate down and the waste hose connects to it through the floor of the waste area. The Y would rotate up after you disconnect. But you said the waste hose would not connect -- do you know why?

What do you mean hot and cold reversed? Turn you waste elbow down toward the access point in the floor. Where is the screw coming up? Did it come through the vinyl?

kitchen sink has one lever pull it toward you (RED) side you get cold water, push away to (blue) side get hot water, all other right hand knobs marked cold are hot and visa versa. Large screw pushed up under tile under slide out on our drive home for dealer.

Wow! Our water is hooked up right. We had a screw come up under the slide in the kitchen area. When retracted you couldn't see it. Thor sent the dealer a roll of flooring and the patched it (perfect job - cannot see where they repaired it)... but unless they secure that screw it will come back up. I am not sure how they secured ours, perhaps they glued it down with epoxy or something but the repair has been solid.

Hooking all the water up backwards? Make them fix it. I cannot imagine how that could have happened.
