I have read up and down for years, some say it relieves stress on tires and suspension, some say no. I went to an FMCA gathering years ago and the Lippert rep said jacks down, spray legs with silicone and wipe for even coating to protect them, if I remember correctly the HWH rep said the same thing. People with collector cars store them on blocks to protect suspensions and tires. Storing on concrete without good drainage is bad for tires due to the limestone.
I have always stored with jacks down and sprayed them with silicone, does it really help tires and suspension, I don't know but that's what I do.
This is probably a loaded question with lots of answers and personal preference.
