Who Manufactures Thor's Doors?

My 2016 Axis 25.1 was broken into and the door was damaged irreparably. We have been waiting for the door since April. It was supposed to be delivered on May 20th. Our repair company called today and was told by Thor RV NOW that they are waiting on getting the door from the their door manufacturer and they NOW have no idea when it will come! We are supposed to leave on a cross country trip in the RV in a few days. What can I do? Who manufactures Thor's RV doors? This is insane and wrong. Does anyone have any idea beyond contacting the news stations consumer advocacy reporters?

That's terrible! Have you spoken directly to Thor customer service? You need to get answers direct, without the middle man, your repair company.

Many RVers are DIY folks, and they would probably fabricate a temporary door our of plywood or a salvaged house door.

Your new door will be shipped as freight, and may take a couple of weeks after the ship date to arrive. Your RV trip looks like it will be a car trip! Bummer!

Been waiting for the door since April. Thor has no idea when it will come. My motorhome is just a huge brick. Customer service is not helping and ignores my contacts for weeks and then answers that they have no news. Thor obviously doe not care. This is ridiculous. I’ve had this motorhome since June 2015 and we have loved it. It has had no issues until the door was damaged by would be thieves. I’m thinking I will contact the consumer people on the local tv station. Any ideas anyone?

Have you tried PPL? I just did a quick search and even camping world has doors. Is there a number on the frame somewhere? Call PPL and maybe they can help. Here is a link to their RV doors. I have bought from them before. Good prices and good service. Let us know how it goes.

I saw information about doors on the Lippert website. Maybe they make them for Thor.
