regen switch

I have a 2013 Thor Palazzo 33.3. It is supposed to have s regen switch under the steering column but I have not been able to locate it. The regen switch is supposed to be used in case the engine check light comes on and says a regen is necessary. This happened to me once and cost more than $500 for the tech to do it. Does anyone have any idea where it is and what it looks like?

Freightliner trucks have the system built into the dash from the factory. Not sure how Thor does this as the entire dash system is built by Thor rather than Freightliner. Have you addressed this with Thor? What did they tell you? It is possible the switch is buried behind the dash somewhere.

If it had that option it would be a rocker switch on the dash labeled regen,
it probably doesn't have one as that would have been part of the oem cummins wiring harness and I have a 40ft Tuscany and it does not have the regen switch either, you could try looking in the engine owners manual if you have one, you could add one if you wanted to as all freightliner switches are programmed with a address to do a specific function, which means you can rearranged switches on your dash and they will still work as there labeled, but you would have to go to a cummins dealer so they can change the ecm parameter and add the (regen permit switch) otherwise just adding the switch it wouldn't work and would throw a fault code for extra sub buss switch.
I never added one to mine because I have access to a computer with cummins insight software to regen it myself.

Oh ya 500.00 to do regen is worse than robbery I know the regen can take anywhere from 45min to 1 1/2 hrs depending on soot load but the the techs part only took him about 10 min to hook up and start the regen, I could go on about this for hours as to hows and why's of these systems.
