Bedroom Television not finding any channels

New owner of 2017 Thor Quantum RQ29. TV over cab and outside TV find the same channels when connected to campground cable. The bedroom TV finds 0 channels. And yes, the signal booster button is turned off. Sounds like a connection is loose or disconnected somewhere. Any ideas on what/where to check? On a related note, many of the found channels then have no signal when you select them. For example, friend next to us was able to watch Bravo but on ours it was there but said no signal. All 3 are original Seikhi TVs.

Many models of "Seikhi TVs" don't have a QAM tuner so they are unable to receive digital cable signals.
If the rear TV gets OTA channels then you probably don't have a coax cable issue.

Should you think it is a coax problem, the splitter is on a pigtail just behind the plate that contains the antenna power button. The TV's operation booklet will tell you what type of tuner in installed in the TVs. Very few Seikhi TV have a QAM tuner. You can buy a stand alone QAM tuner but it is usually better to buy a new smart TV..

Digitial tuners have been required in the US since March 1, 2007. I think the TV in a 2017 model RV has a digital tuner. As for why no signal, the first thing I would check is the cable connection on the back of the TV. The cable connector on one of the TVs in my new, to me, 2018 Thor ACE was loose. failing that work back to the splitter which is likely behind the booster switch plate. if you still cannot get it to work get a cable connector like the attached picture and us it to splice the cable feed to a tv thar works with the cable you use to connect to the Campground cable and then connect the other end to the TV. If you get a signal, then the fault in is the line to the tv that does not work. if it does not work then connect the line to the tv that does not work to a TV that does work, if that works then the TV is bad.

For OTA tuning - an ATSC digital tuner is used.
For unencrypted digital cable a QAM tuner is required. It is well documented that the cheap Seiki TVs only included an analog cable tuner.

If this is the case, then why is only one of the three Seiki TV's in that RV affected?

The bedroom TV is normally a different model than the other TVs, sometimes even a different brand. Some Seiki TVs do have QAM tuners, some do not.

Is that absolutely the OP's problem? No, he asked for ideas as to what could be the problem. It could be a bad/loose cable to that TV but that would affect the ability to receive OTA channels as well. Maybe he hasn't tried to tune in OTA channels with that TV yet or maybe it works fine since he didn't mention it.

Of course if the OP ever came back to the forum he might be able to add to the discussion.

I recently had my main TV in the living room not finding open TV channels while all the others did... DVD and ROKU where working, only open Channels it could not find.
I traced the coax cable and found out it broke where it gets from the floor into the slide because someone at the factory put a zip tie too tight ....
The inside of the coax was broken but the external plastic cover was not so you had to run your fingers on the cable in order to feel that it was broken, if you only look from the outside, it looked ok (although the cable was doing a "too tight" 180 degrees turn) .

As soon as I fixed that the TV started to find open channels....

Every time you relocate you'll need to turn on the antenna booster, go to the TV setup menu, set to antenna, if by chance the tv has a signal meter turn the antenna til the best signal is achieved, then scan the channels.
Or turn off the booster, from setup set to cable & scan channels.
This is the procedure every time you go to a new location even if it's just across the street.
