Reset button for the batteries.

Hello all. First post as we've been real busy waiting to move into our new home and have been living in our new to us, 2014 ACE 30.1 for the past 7 weeks. After leaving the rv park, it seems our 1 house battery is dead. I replaced the battery last night and hardly anything works, lights, tv etc. although everything worked with the generator. So I called THOR and they said there's a reset button on a gray box in the engine compartment, I thought he said on the left side. I wasn't with the coach when I called them so it had to wait until I got home from work. I cannot find this reset button. Can anyone enlighten me as to where it is? Thanks.

The infamous red button!

Take a look at the pictures in this topic:

Then you will have a better idea of what you are looking for.

Hope this helps,

Bruce

Thanks for the info but that's not it. The red button is a breaker type switch. Mine is about 6 inches from the house battery. I was able to call Thor back while I was looking at the engine compartment this morning. The button he wanted me to reset was in a box called something like BCC or the Battery Circuit Center. Been a long day and I can't remember the exact name right now. It had several fuses in it and the cover had 2 flip latches. Once inside the box, I found the little gray box that had a black button on the right that was not easily seen. Once it was pressed, everything worked just fine.

BCC = Battery Control Center. A very important place to discover in your motorhome. Usually on the front firewall. Do a google search to see what it does. Know how to get to the reset button. Dead batteries will often cause it to trip.

Do you have a picture that shows where that button is hiding?

The cover of the BB is Heldon by clips. Open the clips and remove the cover. Look it over you will see the reset switch - lever on the left side. It is the only one, all by its lonesome.

Is it under the "hood"? In a box? Or is it under the driver's side where the fuse box is? Sorry to be so needy. I do appreciate your help.

The firewall separates your engine compartment from the passenger compartment. Open the grill, hood, and take a look. The fan and ac condenser are those big things right in front of you. To the right is a metal vertical surface. Look slightly up and low and behold you should see a black rectangular box. Guess what?

That's what I thought you were saying! Yay! I'll go open that box and see what I behold! Thank you so much.

Well, that box that I was looking at on the driver's side (nothing on the firewall) appears to be for the Ford fuses. I've looked and looked on the driver's side against the firewall and I can't see anything that looks like a box or the pictures posted above. Shoot!

On my 2014 24.1 it is in the outside storage drivers side front.

I think I may have found mine in the electrical box in the cubby under the driver's side. Little black button on a grey box. Pushed it back in - hooked up to electricity. We shall see.

It is definitely in the outside basement below the driver's seat.
