Have the balance checked on your tires. Make sure they exceed 70 mph when balancing. Many times they do it at 55 or 60 mph and think that’s good enough. On a heavier vehicle it’s not.

Check front end alignment. It is part of a new unit warranty

If not available in warranty, then
Slow to 60 mph max as a policy; also improves stability
Balance wheels
THEN check front end alignment

Yes an aftermarket steering damper/stabilizer is a good investment. I recommend the “Safe-T-Bar.” Also helps defend against crosswind gusts and passing large vehicle turbulence.
