Scratchy Bluetooth music connection

I have a 2017 Tuscany. I've noticed recently that my Bluetooth reception for music such as Pandora is getting scratchy and distorted. It is playing through my Rand McNally Nav system to the overhead speakers. The radio and Nav outputs do not have the same poor sound quality. Anyone else experiencing this? I love to listen to music while on the road and have resorted to using my portable Bose unit to get decent sound.

When I have that problem in a GM vehicle's Bluetooth to radio connection, it's the phone that is the problem. Too much junk running on the phone. Power cycle or restart fixes it for me.
