Shower drain problem

My shower drain is stopped up. Can't figure out how to get it unstopped. Any suggestions. Water goes into the main area if I turn shower on. Tried putting wire in the drain would only go in about one inch.

If your shower is in a slide out the flex line may be pinched or broken. Only way to know is getting under the shower to look and that could involve a lot of work.

On my coach, on the ceiling in an outside storage compartment below the shower there is a square plate that after removal allows access to the shower drain. You might check to see if you have something similar.

Try sucking the drain, a decent wet vac can generally remove most problems

I assume the other drains are not backing up? If they are flowing then your grey shouldn't be full. You could bring a garden hose inside the shower, hold it down to the drain and turn it on. Try a little pressure and then increase.
