Skylight Inner Dome in Challenger Shower

I just walked out to my Challenger and noticed the plastic cover for the inner dome of the skylight is coming loose from the inner dome frame. It appears the plastic cover is held in place with double stick tape. Has anyone else experienced this problem with the inner dome of the skylight and if so how did you correct the problem?

Are you talking about the inside trim piece that goes around the skylight?
In our Axis that trim piece is held on with screws.

There is the inside trim piece which is held on with screws, yes. Attached to that with what appears to be double sided tape is a flat plastic piece curved into a semi dome. This plastic piece should, if affixed properly, provide an air space between the inside of the coach and the outer skylight dome.

If someone removed the outside skylight dome they would see another inner dome. Likewise if you removed the inside trim and inner dome you would see the outer dome. The problem I have is the inner dome is attached to the outside surface (frame) of the inner trim and it is coming loose on two sides. I hate the thought of removing the inside trim but that may be what it takes.

Hopefully this is as clear as mud.

Here are some pictures of the issue I described with the skylight. You can see where the plastic inner dome/cover is separating from the interior trim.

My concern is when the shower is being used moisture could get caught between the inner and outer domes and cause issues with mold and corrosion.
