Slide seal sliding out

I have a 2016 for Ace 27.1 and I just looked at my slide and the top seal is sliding out of the track. I'm just wondering if anybody had this problem and what they did I'm just hoping I don't have to go to the dealer to take care of this because I'm in Texas. I'm heading back to Pennsylvania and I don't want that seal to slide out and lose it. I don't want to pull it out and create a leak. I know it will be a problem to get a new one so if anybody has had this same situation please let me know. Thanks Ozzie.

where at in Texas? I have about 12 feet of seal, or maybe just a little bit of RTV to hold it in place until you get back home. I am right next to Ft. Hood, would be glad to help if I can.

Slide seal sliding out

Hi, I'm too far away . I'm in Gordonville Tx near Oklahoma border. I'm leaving today for Pa. But thanks for response. I just can't figure who the seal would slide out. Take care. Ozzie

If the seal is like mine it slides into a track and is free to move. A small amount of silicone sealant on the end should keep it from sliding.

Hopefully it is only sliding while the slide is extended and not while the slide is retracted and you are driving. If it is sliding while driving I would be concerned about inadequate sealing pressure and the potential for leaks.

Here is a picture of the end profile of the exterior seal and you can see the rail that runs along the track. Thor sent me about 40 feet of exterior seal before they sent me the interior seal which was missing from my coach. I had to send them the picture so they knew which seal not to send.
