I called Thor customer service and got the part number. They are available on Amazon and rv parts companies.

I have a new controller in the box that I never used as a spare for the latest Thor M29 but mine is 2018 same thing.

FYI: I was at the Thor plant a few months back for some warranty work and I asked about typical slide issues (thinking I might buy a spare motor).

They told me that in order of frequency, slide issues are related to:

1. Wiring Harness
2. Controller
3. Motor

I decided not to get a spare motor.

Are those motors and controllers really that troublesome if you always follow the correct opening/close procedures? Pretty sad if you have to carry spare parts other then maintenance items (belt, bulbs).

Never had a problem in two plus years.

I think next to drive train issue, slide and jacks that won’t retract are some people worst worries.

Personally I don’t carry spare slide parts. I know the process to retract my slide manually but have never had the need to do it.

I should probably try it out before I NEED to. Anyone unplugged the controller and manually pushed in the slide. I’m assuming no negative effects after testing and plugging back in the controller?

I’m dealing with Both controllers bed and slide blinking 9 times (Hall power short),but can cancel with selecting retract. Only happens with house batts. New batts no help. Turn on gen no problem. Thor sent two controllers, I used one no help. With all this slide and bed works fine.

Mine have blinked since day one. I reset by tapping retract. Never had a problem with bed or slide.

I called lci they said it's not a problem. I called thor they sent me two new controllers. I'll change the controllers only when I have a problem
