Spare tire location on Outlaw 38re

I’m looking at a 38re on Thursday and may purchase. Consensus is that I should buy and carry at least a spare tire and probably a tire on a wheel.

It doesn’t appear that a tire will fit in any of the lockers.

Does anyone carry a spare under the chassis? Like they do on pickups, hung on a chain underneath?

Has anyone mounted one on the underside of the patio? Kinda like the spare on a Jeep?

I’ve seen some comments about hitch mounting. But wouldn’t that prevent having a toad?

I know, I know... questions, questions... but thank you in advance.

Is there any room in the back; when you drop down the rear patio deck?

Unfortunately no - but that would make it a real PITA every time we wanted to use the patio for an overnight...

I have a 2020 Outlaw 29J and I just finished fabricating a spare wheel holder. There was the perfect space for it under the garage. I welded a support frame to the chassis with a Lippert 159056 RV Spare Tire Winch from Amazon and just raised the spare up into it yesterday. Some other people have done it also without welding in some other threads.

Consensus from where? Never needed one, never carried one and that’s why I have road side assistance. A 22.5 tire and wheel weight a lot which comes out of your OCCC.
