The wife had some medical issues so i still havent removed the step. Thing are better now so ill do tgat after Thanksgiving weekend

Well welded step and put it back on. Its solid. Still have the ratchet problem. Called LCI and they believe the new motor is bad so they are sending me a new one before me having to buying a new step. Hope it works. Frustrating that something so simple can give me such a problem
