Terrible squeak
Does anyone know how to get to the mounting flange or whatever hardware holds the door frame in? When driving any little bumps or ripples cause the door to issue this horrendous squeak! Loud and sheer torture after just a few miles. Wife won't ride in it again unless it's fixed. Too too much for her and me too.

Have you tried hitting the hinges, seals, and latches with some silicone spray?

Oh yeah. I believe its the frame, not the door.

I was just trying to eliminate the "easy stuff" first...

My door developed a rattle after driving over some LA (state) roads. Wife stood by the door to see exactly where it was originating. Tighten some screws IIRC and it went away. Then the TV over the door started rattling and a little elec. tape to isolate the metal to metal contact fixed that one.
So do a little snooping and you can find it.

Any way to get some expansion foam in there? Maybe just enough to firm up the frame, not just pile the stuff in there.

What is IIRC? Yep. I am looking for the way to tighten up or otherwise secure better the door jambs.

I am looking to expose the mounting hardware so I can do something like this. Good idea if can get to the edge of the frame or mounting hardware

On our Hurricane the door assembly is held by screws through the frame on the outside. A snap in plastic trim covers the screw heads. The trim can be pried up from th bottom.

Mine is bad about that too. We find that it cuts out a lot of noise to engage the upper (deadbolt) lock on the door. Hope

IIRC= if I remember correctly. Old net abbreviations.
Yes, like another poster said, you will have to remove the trim panels.

Thanks. I found the trim and screws and quite a few were not tight at all. I am to drive it today to see if that helps.
