Thor Axis 24.1 curtains

Drivers side "paper" lining disintegrating from sun. Had replaced. Anyone else same problem?
Went to fabric store to pick up sunbrella fabric to line new ones.

Thumbs down Front curtains problems

I had the same issue on my Axis, but Thor wouldn't replace them since I was a second owner. I bought my Axis after the original owner traded it in because he had 40 foot camper for the 25 years he was in the Air Force, when he retired he tried to down size and his wife was not was with smaller unit. The Axis only had 6000 miles on it and Thor wouldn't handle any of the warranty issues since I was second owner, this turn me against Thor vehicles in the future when I get ready to purchase my next unit, it won't be a Thor product. The only reason I'm not selling my Axis is because of the great document that Ed has put out on this unit, I want to say thank you to Ed for his hard work in keeping the document updated. Sorry about my feeling regarding Thor...

We bought our ACE used and knew there would be no Thor warranty, but the Ford warranty for the chassis and drive train does transfer and is still good. Did you not have this information when you purchased your unit?

Our front curtain liners "dissolved" after 1 year in the FL sun. My wife used the OEM curtains as a pattern and made new cotton curtains to match the linen and bedspreads.

We had the same problem and so we went with sunbrella and no liner this past Spring and all is good so far.

Same problem here: Cut out the remaining disintegrating curtains and now store with foil blocking the windows and curtains (or completely covered in winter).

my salesman wasn't the best at what he told us about this sale since the RV Store was in the middle of changing over to a Lazy Days RV store. The store that is was before couldn't do any since they didn't support Thor products at this time. Now they do but still state the same verbiage about no supporting Thor item, your right about Ford covering there item though.... But as I said earlier Ed Felker saved my life time after time...
