Inverter has no output

I turned my inverter on for the first time today and the panel shows it is on and has 12.3 volts Input Voltage.
Attachment 7369

When I select Input Current, it says 00.0

Attachment 7372

and the same when I select Output Voltage. Of course, none of the appliances are getting any power from it.
Attachment 7371

Does anyone have suggestions of what I can do to fix this?

Any idea where I would find that in an ACE 30.3?

On the inverter itself, not sure where it is located in your ACE.

OK, Tfryman. Thanks for your help. I'll see if I can find it. If not, I have to take it to the dealer any way to get another part installed they had ordered. I would ratjer fix it mysrlf, though. The dealer will want to keep it all winter, especially if they should need to order a part. 😥

Tfryman, as it turns out my inverter is fine. The reason the TV in the main cabin had no power was it is not hooked up to the converter. The fridge and the bedroom TV work fine. When I turn an appliance on that is hooked up to the converter, then the output voltage reading shows up. Someday, hopefully, I'll figure it all out.

Sounds like the inverter is smart enough to sense no load... and therefore draw no current from the batteries to produce 110v.

First thing you have to figure out is an inverter and a converter are different things (although there are some combo units).

An inverter takes your 12 VDC in and creates 120 VAC out for your household loads that are on the inverter's circuits, usually a residential fridge, TVs and some other outlets.

A converter takes 120 VAC from either shore power or the generator and converts it to 12 VDC to charge the batteries, lights, and control power for propane/120 VAC fridges, water heaters, etc.

Yep. They told me the only time it reads input current is when you are hooked to shore power or have the generator on. When you are not on either and you turn an appliance on that is hooked to the inverter, then it displays the output voltage.

Request the wiring diagram from Thor. It will show which outlets are powered by the inverter. It may be something as simple as the tv is plugged into the wrong outlet. On my Miramar the inverter powers the bedroom tv, outside fridge, inside fridge, outside tv, main tv, and an outlet under the dash by the passenger seat.

Of course it is only 1800 watts so the total use can not exceed that.

Good suggestion. Why do I usually look for the most difficult solution first? Maybe years of government training??

I provided my VIN and requested the drain, fresh, and 110v diagrams. I had previously requested and was sent the right side, left side, and roof diagrams.

VERY helpful in tracking down issues.
