Has anyone rewired the wipers from the hard to reach switch on the dash to the Ford wiper switch on the steering column? I haven't looked for the wiring diagram yet, but would like to make it easier to use.
Thanks

I'm new to all this. However, I'm curious what model motorhome you have. Our Four Winds has the wiper controls on the turn signal lever on the left side of the steering column.

For some reason Thor rewires the wipers to a switch on the dash that they install. Consequently the wiper stalk on the steering column does nothing. I wish someone could explain that one to me.

Weird. I wonder if that is specific years or models. Our 2017 Four Winds (with Ford E-450 base) has wipers that work just fine in the stalk.
What I was told is that the stock windshield wiper motor is too small to run the larger wipers on the big windshield. So the larger motor is after market and requires its own switch.
I have a 2016 Axis 24.1. For some reason Thor moved the wiper/washer control to the side of the dash between the window and the instrument panel. The light cotrol is there also. It's a pain if there is a light rain, reaching over to turn it on or off. On the column would be so much easier.
