Thor Hurricane & Windsport seat recall

Is this proper place for a message regarding a TSB related to Thor Hurricanes & Windsports?

We learned of this today when trying to get an update on our Hurricane (still at the shop). The service rep said they had gotten this recall/TSB from Thor and would be checking our coach while it was in the service department getting the warranty work fixed.

2015-05-07 (Published by NHTSA on 2015-06-27)
Recall Summary: Thor Motor Coach (TMC) is recalling certain model year 2016 Hurricane and Windsport motorhomes manufactured March 10, 2015, to March 24, 2015. In the affected motorhomes, the co-pilot seats may be attached to the floor of the motorhome in an area that is not properly reinforced.

Hazard: If the floor at the attachment point is not properly reinforced, the seat base mounting may loosen over time, increasing the risk of injury in the event of a crash.

Remedy: TMC will notify owners, and dealers will install a reinforcement plate at the co-pilot seat mounting bolt location, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin in June 2015. Owners may contact TMC customer service at 1-877-500-1020. TMC's number for this recall is RC000101.

The recall mentioned is listed in the recall corner of Family Motor Coaching magazine this month (August 2015).

Members can go to www.fmca.com and download the electronic version of the magazine if you so desire. The website is where you can also get other info such as towing guides, tutorials on RV maintenance and they also have a forum.

Can anyone tell me how to find out if your motorcoach was manufactured within those dates for the Seat recall

On one of the labels by the drivers seat it should list the manufacture date. My labels are on the wall right next to the Driver's seat. One label is the Incomplete Vehicle label from Ford and the other is the coach label from Thor. The second label has the date listed right above the coach serial number (not the VIN)

Also, if you call Thor they can probably tell you if the coach is subject to recall.
