Thor Outlaw 38re Water Heater

Help! I'm trying to winterize my Thor Outlaw 38re and I can't find the water heater bypass valve. The manual and official Thor winterizing video make reference to it but noone talks about where it is.

I can not speak about your Outlaw but most bypass valves are located behind the hot water heater. Most likely you have three valves that need turned.

If you walk around the outside of your unit you will see a metal cover about 18in square with a mesh screen built into it. It will have a small clasp at the top to open the cover downward. This is the back side of the water heater, so where ever that is in relation to the inside of your unit. By the way you will have to empty the hot water heater also by unscrewing the plastic plug at the bottom.

While typing I thought do you have a on demand water heater? if so all I said does not make a difference.

Found it! Thanks for the help. Our outlaw has a patio instead of a garage. On the patio is a wet bar. Under the sink is an access panel. I didn't think about it right away because you have to let down the patio to get to it. Winterization complete!

Now look forward to summer when you get to reverse the process

Think how much easier it'll be for next year's winterizing!
