Thor safety oversite

So I had to pull up the flooring under the dinette for a remodeling project. This is on a 2017 Four Winds. There are two T shaped steel devices inder the floor. This is in the full wall slide. I found that one of them is not bolted to the frame like it is sopposed to be. This T rides in a steel channel that sits on the floor under the dinette. The purpose of this T is for in case of a RV roll over it will not allow the slide to seperate from the rest of the RV. Well like I said the T is not bolted to anything and the steel channel only had one out of six screws holding it to the floor.
For something that is this important for safety, how can Thor not inspect this before it leaves the factory.
As a side not. The same floor area had a soft spot right were your feet would be. There was a hole under the flooring. It took a 11" long 2x4 to fill it....just another Thor quality control F... up

Yep. S.T.O.P. -Stand Thor Operating Procedure. You can make a complaint to the NHTSA complaint: https://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/VehicleComplaint/
or you can just fix it and move on like more of our factory errors and omissions.

While I agree that the T serves as a stop to prevent the slide exiting the RV, I believe the T fixture is also there to guide the slide as it goes in and out.
As you said it rides in a channel that is mounted to the underside of a steel plate that is mounted to the slide floor.

I also agree that a T fixture that is not bolted to the RV is basically useless and a safety issue.

It's a good thing that you found this, and put those missing screws in place!
