Thor Warranty Service is good

I know everyone here likes to bash Thor on their quality and warrant service. But I had just the opposite experience with them. The warranty person at my sales dealership was not returning my calls. So I decided to go directly to the Thor Warranty Service. I actually paid for all the stuff out of pocket and then asked them to reimburse me for some stuff

Here is what they reimbursed me for:
  • Front end alignment.
  • 110v wall plate at door would not stay because the plug was not installed correctly.
  • Wiper switch kept falling out of the dash.
  • Tornado installed incorrectly (cross threaded). This was actually an aftermarket dealer issue. But Thor covered it.
Replace Attwell heater door and apply new decal at a dealer without cost to me.

Thor - Good Job!

I think on any RV brand specific forum the members tend to post only when there are problems, or at times when they experience a negative outcome. It is good to hear that Thor stepped up and "put the customer first".

Thumbs up Thor Tech Service

My wife and I just completed our first shake-down run in our Vegas. 7300 miles... We encountered several electric and other issues along the way. Some were operator error; some were electronic gremlins; and some were just stuff going bad. We had multiple phone conversations with the Tech Support Guys... Always, professional, helpful, courteous, they were kind enough to not even laugh out loud at us while still on the phone line ... It didn't matter if we needed them and their advice/assistance for 30 seconds or 30 minutes. They stayed on the line until the issue was taken care of and we were rolling down the highway! Our thanks go out to these great folks!

I second that. Customer service at Thor has been very good. They stepped up to immediately address warranty issues with my coach when it sat at CW for repairs and also reimbursed me for things I had to purchase on my own to repair. They sent me parts without question.

Thor warranty service

I too was pleasantly surprised at the involvement of the Thor warranty service agent when my dealer was working on the many problems on my Synergy (many were very minor but two or three were real head-scratchers). It also helps to have a good dealership that know what they are doing, and knows how to work effectively within Thor's system.
