Tire noise

My 2014 Four Winds 28 Z with 3000 miles has excessive tire noise--since new. The noise comes on around 45 MPH and remains, although decreasing, through 65 MPH. The noise is accompanied by a chassis low frequency vibration but nothing through the steering wheel. At these low miles the front tires feel a little "cupped" when running a hand over them. I'm running Michellin tires, the same as I had on a previous class c with no noise/issues. Ideas are welcome.

Have you had it aligned at a truck shop ??? If you have thing would be tire balance

You may want to check around. Michelin had a tire recall and if I remember correctly there were quite a few 2014 class c coaches that were involved.

Whats your tire pressure? or tires could be out of round, which is rare now days for new tires

Believe the Michelin tire recall was with 2012 dated tires. Cupping would seem to be from a bouncing action- tire balance or possibly bad/defective shock(s).

There was a second recall about LTX M/S tires produced up until June 2013 as well. You would have to verify DOT numbers and dates as well as size.

I have had the fronts rebalanced and crossed. I'll watch for future misalignment signs but I think that's not it. Thanks

Thanks, Dave. I did check that but Michelin's recall was prior to my tires birthdate. Good call nonetheless.
