Does the coach need to be level when usind shore cord as well as when using propane ? I own a four winds 31L.Mine is not working... my droveway is sloping.

Yes. The refrigerator needs to be leveled to within 3 degrees side to side and 6 degrees front to back even when it is running on shore power while the Motorhome is parked. Otherwise it may malfunction and cause damage to its self and possibly the motorhome.
