Leak around shower drain

bought used 15 Ace and after showers, would see a little water on passenger side tire. Looked up and noticed someone had put a rubber patch so I removed and saw that the insulation and floor board was removed. Appears like either the tub/shower liner or the plastic drain tubing is leaking. Anyone else ever have this issue? Not sure how to fix.

Hi I think that many ACE coaches have an access to the shower drain P trap which is located over the rear (passenger side) tire......real convenient? Attached is someone's water leak story that may be similar to your current situation. Hope the link helps you out a bit.

Javelin, thank you so much for taking the time to send me link. It stopped me from worrying and will help a lot. Small gesture means so much. Thanks beyond words.

Glad to help out. I don't envy anyone who has to do that repair and I hope I never need to do it on my ACE. It is sometimes hard enough repairing a trap fitting under an easily accessible sink never mind trying to get at this one. By the way I saw that Danko replacement trap at HomeDepot.com on line.......or check Amazon.com also. Good luck with that repair. If you do the repair yourself take some pictures and post them for us.

Javelin is correct, the Ace's or at least my 29.3 does have an access hole right under the drain, its the only way to access it. Mine they actually forgot to cut the opening and I had to do it myself. While I was doing that I added some additional support under the shower pan.
