I am looking for UV Protection for my tires. Any recommendations or thoughts?

Adco makes some nice dual color tire covers. A bit more expensive than some but worth it.

I cut some old plywood and leaned it against my tires with couple of heavy rocks to wedge it there.

I ordered mine from a local Florida couple that custom makes them to fit your exact tire rim/tire size. They are made from the same shade screen material that you hang from your awnings. I am very pleased with them. They keep the UV off my tires but don't hold moisture in.

I bought a set of four off Amazon and they work fine. The only drawback comes in putting them on. Having to reach behind the tire to get the straps in place can be hard on my bad back and arthritic knees. But it works.
I have seen a set made by Magna Shade, which also makes window shades that attach to the outside of the coach. They appear to be much easier to attach/detach, but one costs as much as the set of four I bought.

Here’s another option I just found online. About $130 for four (sold in pairs). I might pick these up for my coach. This looks like the easiest on/off that I’ve seen.

I do not cover my tires. I just treat mine with 303 Arospace once and a while. After 3 years they look new.

Different climates, I think. I see you’re in SD. Here in AZ, the sun will brutalize tires that sit still for too long.

My trailer has never been in SD, yet. I’m a fulltime RVer. Out of three years I have been in TX for about 11 months. And I try not to park under trees and prefer to park in open spaces.

You give them your exact tire/rim information and when they are getting ready to cut material they contact you for payment information. Very nice couple to deal with and they produce an extremely high quality product.

Cool. I have seen, with my own eyes, tires dried out and cracked by the AZ sun after only two summers here. Those were on a vehicle that was parked with no shade and no tire covers, and that was not moved more than a couple times in that period.
The stuff you said you put on your tires may be a great alternative to tire covers. I’m going to look into it.

I have been using 303 on the tires also. But, since our MH came with covers, I use them as well. I'm just not as anal about getting the covers back on.

The 303 comes in handy on a lot of items. I use it on rubber window trim, the plastic lower bumper valence on our C Class. I use a dense sponge to apply to the decals also.

Yes it has a lot of other uses. I use it on my rubber roof, dash boards, awnings, vinyl ceiling’s, slide seals, all handles on the outside, power cord off the top of my head. It is not cheap stuff, but it is worth it. I buy it a gallon at a time.
I started using it about 20 some years ago on my boat.

I have a different kind of .303 made in Britain, but have used 303 for decades on everything especially when I lived in AZ. for 12 years. That dry climate just sucks out all the preservatives in plastics, vinyl, rubber etc. real quick.
