Vegas window seals tear loose

Has anyone else had a problem with the rubber window seals on their Axis/Vegas? Mine stick to the glass when the window is opened and come loose from the window frame. I've had it fixed once (dealer installed new seals under warranty), but it happened again very soon afterwards. These are frame-less windows, hinged at the top.

Anyone know of any solutions?

A bit of talc powder on the rubber will prevent it from sticking to the glass.

Thanks, I'll give it a try after glue the seals back to the coach.

I use a silicone paste or grease on the seal and it works well to keep it from sticking. It also keeps the seal from ageing and cracking; like me.

I'll look up the paste brand if you want.

Window Seals on Axis

Our 2016 24.1 Axis is having a problem with the rubber seals on the windows that open. The one on the far rear driver's side seams like it completely "shrunk" on the corners. They all have to be replaced...

aa9zz,

I know this is an old post but if you are still here and can give the name of those products, would be most appreciated. Would such things also work for the seals around all of the compartments?

thanks

I had the seals come loose on a couple of the cargo doors, so far the window seals are holding. Dealer also had to replace the seal on the entry door, to eliminate/reduce wind noise at highway speeds.
