Thank you. THis is DogShowRV wife - Cathy. It appears that when problems arise-I’m going to be the one dealing with it. I originally thought an RV would be more fun than trouble and so far that hasn’t been the situation. So, here we go...I called CW this morning and they said Decal letters are non-priority repair. Not related to safety or functioning of vehicle. A 6 week wait for an appointment. So I called THOR after I just saw your post and explained the 6 week wait. A rep named “RON” is sending me the letters. THen I will go to an RV repair shop and have them applied. Next: the dead battery. I finished unraveling a 100’ heavy duty extension cord we have in the garage. Now I have to lay it out to the RV and plug it in. I was going to put the RV on shore power and see if that charges the chassis battery back up. My question is: If I use the emergency start switch how long should I run the engine before turning it off? I remember charging a dead battery and the engine will turn over. But then after its turned off it wont start back up? THanks for your patience with this situation.

I've spoken with Ron at Thor also: he's been pretty darn helpful!
If you hook up to shore power: set your Battery "use/store" switch back to "Use".
That should provide power to charge all of the batteries (I think... )
Once you get things up and running: I'd let it idle for about a half-hour...

But that's just me!

Good luck!!

I've got a bunch of fingers crossed for you: Good luck!
(I'm guessing that the Coach Batteries were also down...)

I went over all the steps for using the auxiliary start procedure this morning one last time before hooking up to shore power. The first when I said nothing happened it was because I had made some mistakes. 1.) I hadn’t turned the Use/Store switch to USE.
2.) I didn’t hold the Auxiliary switch in long enough while turning the key in the ignition. I calmed my nerves and went outside again. This time I turned the USE/Store switch to USE, and I also held the auxilary
Start switch long enough to make sure the engine turned over (about 2 or 3 seconds). Thank you again for sticking with this thread.

I need to talk to camper world about our decal. We have a 2019 Thor Freedom traveler. Having the front area above the headlight peeling on each side. It looks like they laid the tiles to tightly over where it indents a quarter inch. If you wash it, it instantly starts peeling.

The black graphics on my 06 Hurricane were sun stroked. Striped off with a 3M eracer wheel and repainted with Sherwin Williams single stage paint in the drive way.

Rear cap decals

Found auto stripping shop that does vehicles, signs had computer generated cut out new rear decals almost to factory specs
Cost $200 but they said old decals, even tho worn and peeling very difficult to remove
Think exhaust from Onan and motor along with road chemicals really do a number on rear cap
