As did I , our Hurricane 29M, had over 12 issues that needed to be cured, before I pulled out of MHS in Texas. They did fix all, but wow what a struggle. Had to “Gore the Thor” a bit.

Garry D...I'm curious if you ever answered the question you had about your water heater? Although, as others have said, the water heater has no auto switch feature, it is possible for both electric and gas switches to be "on". I sometimes do that to heat the water quickly and then turn off the gas if connected to AC.

If you camp during very cold weather, say in the 30's, it is possible to run through the LP in a week or two. I use an electric space heater in the front of the coach to aid in staying warm and cut down on the LP usage. I usually start up the furnace when we get up in the morning to take off any chill but once we are fixing breakfast I find I can turn it off.

I also have a small space heater for the bedroom in the rear of the coach so we just don't use the furnace all that much. The furnace is an LP hog so finding a way to limit it's use and still stay warm is the challenge but as I said can be done.
