Make sure that when you remove or put items into the storage compartments, you don't damage the paper thin lip that the gasket material attaches to (and the latch also uses). They often get dented when moving stuff around. And when that happens, either the doors won't seal properly, or the latch will not tighten the compartment enough.
Just another example of the quality in the RV industry... unfortunately, it gets worse as the RV ages.
Most seasoned RV owners could write a pretty good check list for what things to avoid when shopping for a new RV. Unfortunately, if you used that list, you would not likely find any RVs that would pass muster.
