Squeaky annoying sound

Hey everyone. I have a 2107 ACE 30.2 and I have been trying to figure out this annoying noise. I had DW drive down a bumpy road and the noise is coming from the inside step area next to where the propane tank is located. It is not the door making the noise. Is sounds like metal and styrofoam rubbing together. Any thoughts? Thanks

PS : l really enjoyed this forum!

I don’t have an ACE but on my class A I found that a weld on the heat shield between the propane tank and the exhaust system had broken. This allowed the metal heat shield to flex and rub on the frame. I fixed it with a small metal strap over the broken weld secured with a bolt on each end. Stopped that particular noise. Might have been unique to my machine but worth a look.

Yep, a creeper, a bag of.wire ties and a couple cold beers are a part of routine maintenance.

It used to be a dirt floor, moonshine & baling wire.
The more things change, the more things stay the same.

Wink

We put up with an annoying, high-pitched squeaky noise for a long while.

Don't have that problem any more.

Mother-in-law stays home now.
