Waxing Windsport Sides

I started waxing a side of the RV and found that some of the decals don't wipe off well and don't shine. Should I wax the decals or just the painted fiberglass wall between the decals? I am using NuFinish Car Wax. Is there a wax or some kind of protectant that I should be using?

Usual advice is not to use wax on the decals where possible. The best stuff I've found for the decals, and a lot of others agree, is Aerospace 303. It's great on tires, decals, vinyl and similar things. Not alcohol based and is a pretty good UV shield. You can find it a lot of places; Amazon just had a nice sale on 1 gallon size too.

I have FBP and no vinyl decals.

You might want to look into this stuff.

I used RejeX (Amazon) and it worked fine on our decals.

Thanks, I appreciate the responses.

I was about to try Lemon Pledge, since that's what I use on my motorcycles. It's silicon based and doesn't build up, yet it protects the painted and chromed surfaces very well and does a nice job on the windshields. I wonder if anyone has tried using Pledge?
