Opening hood to check fluid levels

Didn't think to have dealer show me how to open it as I opened it on one of them while looking at Thors. I've turned the key both ways on locks ? tried pushing buttons on locks but it will not lift up.

They don’t pop open, you have to pull out and lift up. Mine was super stiff, bound up.

I got out my creeper and saw that I was not pulling hard enough, and being new just tight. I was just being too lazy to look at it from under belly. Thanks for the help.

Yeah, same on the NOT showout. I Decided to color code the keys, blue, green, red, yellow, means the key up higher than the rest is blue and figured out that the engine hood key, (which doesn't look like a normal key), won't have a color. Ok, unlocked the hood and nothing happened, so I jiggled it a bit until one side came up. Then I did the other one like that and slowly lifted it up. Then I wd40ed the hinges and it was a lot easier to open after that. Even got to eyeball all the sticks for quantitys and found where the engine battery is.
