brake controller trouble

I have a new 2020 Thor four winds 31W. We decided to get it ready for a trip next month so I purchased a brake controller from e-trailer, tekoshna p-3'
Well I plugged it in, brake controller flashed , unplugged it and now coach won't start. Checked every fuse I could find, disconnected battery so computer could drain, swapped relays around....Nothing seems to work, dealer is even puzzled. Hope to find someone that knows more or may its happen to????

fords brake control harness, has zero to do with ECM that controls engine.

did you plug the controller into the factory harness port, or splice in somewhere?

you definitely have a weird issue

does engine turn over but not start or does it not turn over?

We really do need more info.
'won't start' means nothing to us.

Detail it out and I bet we have a fix.

In the mean time:
You said you took the controller out and it won't start.
Does it start with the controller installed?
Did it ever start with the controller installed?
What has Teckoshna told you?
Dealer is Ford dealer or rv dealer?
Dealer is puzzled after running checks, or puzzled after hearing about it over the phone?

Sorry for the confusion, e trailer sold me tekonshna P3 with plug and play pigtail for 2019 e450 ford. I plugged it into the factory port turned the key to on position and controller began to flash. I turned key back to off position and I unplugged the controller then tried to start the coach, as the key is turned to
on the dash lights come on but when the key is turned to start position there is nothing...no clicks, nothing. Clear as mud?? It was RV dealer I have been talking to.

No, I believe etrailer supplied me with the wrong pig tail and both the controller and something on the RV went out. It's gotta be something that blew but I can't figure it out.

I was going to stay out of this be a use its speculation only

But

Ford has a SIX VOLT line to the ignition.
It powers some relays upon starting.
Chevy has a five volt line.

If that controller back fed 12v to your ignition switch you might need a new if ition switch.

I'm sure a Ford dealerr would fix it easily.

I recently ruined two remote controls by waiting them backwards.
Both worked for a moment. Now they make the quietest little click on the remote relay and don't get enough power to actuate.

You mean the actual ignition switch/key switch?

That's my guess.
Any Ford tech will know in a minute and it's a cheap fix.
It might even be a trak auto part.

Others will be reading this so I'm going to do a slight hijack.
They now make a trailer brake controller that simply plugs into your 7 plug and controls through a phone.

Just a heads up for those with, like me, wiring fears.

It's also portable which is one reason I have the one from Curt. U can use in both the RV and the pickup truck.

The correct Tekonsha connector cable is a 3035-p for the P3 controller. Just plugs into the connector under the dash. It should not have anything to do with stoping the engine from starting. Unless the cable is misswired from the factory. All the cable does is connect the 12v positive and 12v ground and the blue electric break wire.
Is this the cable e-trailer sold you?
I purchased mine on Amazon.com.

The connection for the brake controller on a 2019 Ford F-450 is behind the coin tray high up on the dash, not under the dash. The connection under the dash is a computer test port.

Thanks everyone for their suggestions. Yes the pig tail was wrong....
caused the anti theft to come on. We had a tek from coach-net reset and cleaned up a few things from the factory. All is well. I was also told by e-trailer not to order just based on chassis but to have the specific MH looked up incase there might be a difference??? Thanks again.
