Will not start

The day after returning from vacation, I went out to move my 1998 Windsport, P30 chassis, and the engine will not turn over. Dash lights all come on but it acts like it in gear. Emergency start doesn't work either. Really not sure what to check first. Any ideas or suggestiond?

Does it have a column shift or a touch pad shift? If touch pad, make sure it is lit up. If column shift, try starting it in neutral. Or, could be the solenoid on the starter. If you can access the starter, try tapping on it with a hammer.

This has column shift. Had a new cable installed a couple of months ago but has been working fine. Won't start in neutral either.

The adjustment on the cable might be off and not allowing it to go fully into park. Check with the shop that installed it and see if they have any suggestions.

Ace29.2

Electric step will not come out. Tried to start the coach but no ignition or system lights with level system. Is the step and ignition on same fuse link? Seems that one quit working then the coach ignition does not work? I am really tired of the Thor ace 29.2 having one problem after another. And yes the sewer system is on the passenger side since the idiots at Thor did everything backwards. Help please

Might want to start your own thread. And check your battery voltages.

I have it plugged into a 30amp power source. The coach shows power is coming into the coach. Will check batteries. Thanks

I have a cHaring port/digital volt gauge I leave in dash when unit parked. IT tells me chassis battery status. Never see it below 12.4 or higher than 13.2. Gives indication of start battery status. Thor panel tells me status of house batteries.

I did mistake once of leaving unit unplugged for a few days wit store switch active. Grandsons watching dvd's on Axxera killed chassis batery. Recharged and has been fine.

Wanted to let you know that the issue of not starting has been resolved. Turned out to be a bad starter. Tapped starter with a hammer and no change. Tried the old fashioned jumping the solenoid and got nothing so i figured that the starter was the problem. Replaced and started right up. Thanks for your help and all suggestions.
