Windshield

Spent the last week traveling north to New York, the bugs while on the road were horrible. Had to pull over several times to clean the bugs off. Does anyone out there use something on the windshield to keep the bug splatter from sticking so much? The wipers couldn't keep up.

Rain X before each trip helps.

Second the RainX recommendation. When you apply, a micro fiber cloth will remove the haze that regular towels won't. You'll be amazed at how the bugs slide off with just water. And, you'll be amazed at how rain will sheet off, even without the wipers!

Rain X also makes windshield wiper spray that works good too!

Agree about RainX. I also use used dryer sheets to remove the bugs. They come off very easily.

Thanks for the confirmation. I intended on using RainX but wanted to see if the experienced guys had a better way.

Make sure your windshield is completely dry, get some 0000 steel wool and use it to polish your glass before putting on the Rain X. The steel wool won't scratch and will get your glass completely clean, again, make sure it's dry first.

There is a product called "Rejex" , it can be purchased on Amazon and works better than Rain X.

We just completed a trip to Florida and I had applied Rejex to the windshield and the entire front of the rv.

All of the bugs washed off very easily.

I have nothing to do with the company or product , I'm just a satisfied user.
