More than likely the problem is due to a lack of pressure from the wiper arm. The wind force from driving is causing the wiper to lift away from the windshield. This problem is not RV centric but also happens on cars and trucks as well.
There are a few things you can try.
First and cheapest is to bend the wiper arm slightly towards the windshield thereby increasing the pressure on the windshield. Just the slightest additional bend can make all the difference.
You can also try a supplemental spring such as Sure Wipe (sold at Walmart and Napa) that increases the arm pressure on the windshield.
Also there are air deflectors (or spoilers so to speak) that can be installed on the wiper arms that increase the pressure of the arm on the wind shield.
