does anyone have too much sway? we are going to put a rear sway bar from blue ox and see it that helps lots of wind this summer on our trip to slave lake canada and now in bend oregon the headed back to summer home in co. thanks jim

installed a BlueOx rear TigerTrak on my 2015 Challenger and it made a very noticeable difference. Did it eliminate the rear sway completely, no, but worth the money and time to install. Bought it on Amazon and installed it myself. Did have to contact Blue Ox cause the differential bracket sent with kit was not the one my 2015 chassis needed. Blue Ox actually sent me a brand new just produced bracket built specifically for this chassis. After a few weeks of back and forth with BlueOx, received the proper bracket and been a much better ride ever since. I highly recommend BlueOx products as there service after the sale is great.

thanks for the reply i put a blue ox sway bar on the rear and it made a 90 % difference plan to put a front sway bar on and a trac bar jim

Glad to hear. You may want to consider a steering stabilizer (Safe-T-Plus or Roadmaster) which will help somewhat with front sway but most importantly, prevent you from loss of control from a front tire blowout.

Glad to hear. Did you also try the CHF (cheap handling fix)?
If your not familiar with CHF, search online. It is a matter of moving the factory front sway bar to the tighter mounting hole.

I put track bars on my ACE 27.1 front and rear along with front Summo springs to greatly reduce tracking and sway issues. I posted very recently my review and my impressions. Do a search. My issues may not have been the same as yours.

Hey nancyjim, was curious how pulling the grand Cherokee has been for you.
Have a 27.1 also, and pretty sure on getting a gc for a toad. Any feedback on your experience would be welcome. Joel

Just recently, I did multiple mods to my 2016 Vegas simultaneously. First, I had the front end aligned, then installed a Safe-T-Plus steering unit, and also had front and rear Hellrig heavy duty sway bars installed. My unit drives much differently now. The STP reduced the slack in the steering, eliminating the "wander" while driving, so no more see-sawing of the steering wheel to stay straight. The sway bars eliminated much of the rocking of the coach, especially from wind and/or passing vehicles...not 100%, but still much, much better than before. I would highly recommend all of these.

hi we towed the jeep this year over 7,000 miles and no problems just bought a 2016 chev equinox and well tow that now headed to yuma and quantize az second week of jan jim nancy

Thanks for the replies. We were all ready to buy a wrangler, but somehow it snowballed, and a Grand Cherokee is now the one. Had a little concern on how the weight difference may affect things, but after checking, not really that much difference between the two. Well, that Hemi could make a difference.

Not this year. Will be buying a jeep, installing all the needed extras to make it safe, and easy this winter, sometime after the holidays. Really looking forward to doing the installs, if the weather gives me a break.
