You don't mention what you're looking at for a TV, Long or Short Box, Can make a difference on hitch preference. Because of the weight I hope you're looking at Duallies, which would only get you a long box so there would be no need for a slider. But I would say go bigger than you need, at least a 20K as that 16K loaded can easily turn into 17K, don't ask how I know.
