Assuming you're referring to a Chateau or Four Winds 22E, the Thor web site shows they are installing 8,000-pound trailer hitch. See picture attached.
However, in practice that could be misleading for most owners because they would be limited by Gross Combined Weight Rating (GCWR) before they reach the 8,000 pound limit of the hitch itself.
You also didn't mention whether chassis is Chevy or Ford, which makes a big difference.
Assuming you are close to fully loaded before connecting the trailer (not a great assumption but I'm making it in order to keep reply simpler), the Ford has 6,000 pounds between GCWR and GVWR (18,500 - 12,500). The Chevy is only 3,700 pounds (16,000 - 12,300).
Particularly with the Chevy, you are very unlikely to get close to the 8,000-pound hitch capacity before you reach GCWR limits.
