Before we leave I am going to spray the bars arms up with WD or silicone. Anyway am I expecting too much from the “ non binding” tow bar? Am I the only one with these issues? Have same towbar. Worked easily sometimes... a pain others... until I figured out....
The release works under ‘compression’... ie the toad pushing into the motor home, as the release lets the arms move IN.
If the toad is ’downhill’ or pulling away from motor home, the release can’t do anything.
In these cases, start the toad, put it in drive, and gently move forward to put pressure against the MH. Set brake and back in park. Release lever should pop now and bar slide in allowing release.
