Trailer hitch height on 2017 Hurricane 34J?

Does anyone know the hitch height on a 2017 Hurricane 34J? Mine is in storage and I'm trying to decide if my step down hitch adapter (4") from my previous axis will be enough to tow my GMC Terrain.

I have a 4" drop down on my Hurricane 31S. From the top of the flange to the ground is 14 1/2 "

Is 14 1/2" with the 4" drop down or without it? I have a 29M that is parked at an angle and I can't measure the actual height of my receiver. Blue Ox recommendeds no more than 3" difference between center of tabs on toad and center of receiver for tow bar. The tabs on my C-Max are at 12", so if the center of the receiver is less than 15", I should be good to go. Anyone have a 2017 Hurricane 29M that they could measure from ground to center of receiver opening? Thanks.

I have a 34F, use a 6" drop for my tow dolly, and wish it was a 7" drop.

just noticed you were wanting to flat tow, so these numbers will not apply for you.

I use an 8" drop when pulling my motorcycle trailer. Just now setting up for flat towing the C-Max. I really don't want to have to pull th RV out of the driveway to measure to the center of the receiver and then have to back it back in again. It's not a straight shot. Uphill both ways, in the 112° heat. Whine, whine, whine.

On mine I started out with a 8" drop extension and kept scrapping it
going in and out of gas stations. I switched to a 6" drop and no problems.

I have the Blue Ox setup and when I started looking 2-1/2 yrs. ago it was
price. CW wanted $5000 installed for the Roadmaster setup and I was
able to purchase the Blue Ox setup installed for $3200.

I finally pulled my rig out of the driveway and measured the height of my receiver. I have 20" from the center of the receiver hole to the ground.

You said you originally had a 8" drop, what is the distance from the center of your receiver to the ground? I have already purchased an 8" drop receiver and am trying to find out if I will experience the same scrapping.

I am still in the process of installing my baseplate, etc., and would really like to forego this type of problem.

Thanks

You will probably be fine with the 8" drop. You have a 29 ft long MH
mine is 35 ft long. Also depends on what you are towing.

I was trying for a even pull and with my Dakota truck the 8" drop
caused the tow bar to lower at the front so going to a 6" drop fixed it.

A little late to the conversation, but perhaps you could help me out. Did the 8” drop for you when towing the C-Max?

No it did not. Either did the six inch drop. The Blue OX tow bar sticks out pretty far and I kept dragging it. I am currently using a 4 inch drop. And have driven about 2 thousand miles pulling the cmax with no problems.
