Hey, I'm in Stuart, FL and just purchased a "solar ready" 2018 Four Winds 24FS. I was considering including a solar panel as well, but that is a little down the road.
We have done a lot of dry camping out west and national parks where generator use is restricted. So solar looks to be the way to go. I would suggest a ground mount plug and play panel as opposed to putting more holes in the roof, they leak bad enough already.
One thing to keep in mind is that DC output greatly diminishes with distance (feet), so keep the connections as short as possible.
