No apology needed - A RV is a large $ outlay!!! Winnebagos have a rep for quality but seems from reading many many forums those owners have same/similar problems/issues as any other brand, including the higher $ Newmars and Tiffins. I though the fit and finish of the Winnies was a bit better than Thor. Also have read many posts about slides malfunctioning, esp. full wall slides. If they get stuck out, they can be pushed back in with help. I imagine that pushing in a full wall slide could take 6 or more people to do that. I also rule out any models that have appliances in the slide. In addition to addt'l weight on the slide, I do not like the idea of wiring and piping for the appliances moving about with the slide opening and closing. At this point, I'm looking for best price. I have an excellent RV repair shop near me so not worried about warranty/dealer service. You only get a year warranty anyway. Good luck with your search.

Thanks..excuse my ignorance, why is a full slide an issue for you?...also, from an overall quality standpoint do you see a difference between a Thir and Winnebago?
