i did a little off center. it fits up against the wall like the original table, but when i use the outside table leg it can rotate 360 degrees. gives me options. i also cut a 3/4 inch piece of plywood 16 X 28 that i can lay down so it makes a U-shaped dinette. used one of the pillow covers and stuffed it full of memory foam to make a seat cushion that matched the dinette. had to cut some of the inner stitching. it works ok and matches dinette cushions or cut the bed cover that came with it to make cushion. i don't use that anyway. also thank you for the link to the swivel base. going to ask Santa for it and see what happens. it in on the DW's side anyway..
