This is a message for ThorRut regarding the problem you are having with no lights when disconnected from shore power. I did find the solution and will take pics for you tomorrow. I got your query too late tonight.

My wife Gail, and I, just purchased a 30ft. Thor ACE. It has the Ford engine which served us well in the Winnie Minnie, which we traded for the Thor. The Minnie was great for weekend camping trips, however, we are about to wander a little farther afield and for longer periods of time. The Thor offered the amenities we felt were important, including a nice size bed room. We have a Jeep Wrangler toad which we towed with the Blue Ox, tow bar and this worked great. I hope someone can tell me me how well the Thor will perform towing this vehicle, particularly in some of the more hilly or mountainous states. Thank you.
